American Heart
Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support course is designed
for health care professionals with a basic EKG knowledge.
The ACLS course consist of lectures, skills practice
stations and skills testing stations. Topics covered include
oxygenation, airway management, shock, AMI recognition,
pharmacology and cardiac arrest algorithms.
Although the teaching criteria is
flexible & allows remediation, student must know the ACLS
material.
Course Cost: $120 Book $40.00
a $50.00 non-refundable deposit is required one
week prior to the class.
Full certification Course - 14
hours -this course is strongly recommended for those not
familiar with ECG's, Algorithms & pharmacology.
Recertification Course - 8
hours - recommended for providers who are already certified
but in need of recertification.
Recertification period - 2
years
Pre-requisite - Healthcare
Provider BLS.
