Over 40,000 deaths per year are due to
medical errors, Some states have mandated continued training
for medically licensed staff. Florida law mandates licensed
healthcare providers to receive education on prevention of
medical errors while managing patients. The participant will
discuss the factors that influence errors, situations that
are prone to errors, processes too improve outcomes, and how
to decrease & prevent medical errors.
